Four charged over alleged CTP fraud as detectives raid properties across Sydney
Four people have been arrested over their alleged roles in a Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance fraud syndicate, with properties raided in Pyrmont, Bankstown and Bass Hill.

Four people have been arrested over their alleged roles in a Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance fraud syndicate, with properties raided in Pyrmont, Bankstown and Bass Hill.
The investigations are led by the CTP Task Force, which is backed by the NSW Government and co-ordinated by the State Insurance Regulatory Authority.
It includes representatives from several government agencies and legal, health, and insurance sectors.
Investigators said they seized several items, including documentation relevant to the investigation and electronic devices at these premises on Tuesday.
These items were seized to undergo forensic examination.
A 45-year-old Bass Hill man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he was charged with intending to pervert the course of justice, knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, deal with identity information to commit indictable offence, and knowingly participate in criminal group assist crime.
Police will allege in court the man facilitated the activities of the syndicate by providing advice to members of the group to assist with knowingly submitting fraudulent insurance claims.
He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court.
Detectives also arrested a 36-year-old man at a home in Merrylands, a 40-year-old woman at a Cherrybrook home and a 43-year-old woman at Castle Hill Police Station on Wednesday.
The Merrylands man was charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, and dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
He was granted strict conditional bail and is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday, April 23.
The Cherrybrook woman was charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, and four counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
The North Kellyville woman was charged with participating in criminal group, contributing to criminal activity, and dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.
