A LATE-night Maccas run has resulted in charges for a man who allegedly threatened a teenage girl with a firearm.
Police will allege in court just before midnight on February 4, a 17-year-old girl attended McDonald’s Bankstown on the corner of Rickard Rd and Sir Joseph Banks St to pick up a family member.
The girl left her car running with her lights projecting onto another vehicle.
As she left the carpark, a white Toyota Corolla allegedly followed and pulled up next to her near the intersection with Chapel Rd.
The 36-year-old male driver allegedly abused the girl and her passenger before producing a firearm and threatening them.

She drove away and contacted Bankstown police, who began an investigation.
Officers attended the McDonald’s at 1am on February 6 and spoke to a 36-year-old man.
After searching his vehicle, police allegedly located two replica pistols, illicit drugs and an amount of cash.
The man was arrested and charged with two counts of possessing an unauthorised firearm, two counts of common assault, stalking and intimidation causing physical harm, dealing with proceeds of crime and two counts of prohibited drug possession.
He was refused bail and will appear at Bankstown Local Court today.
