Elderly Padstow woman hit by car, succumbs to injuries
An elderly woman from Padstow, critically injured after being hit by a car at Panania, has died in hospital.

A Padstow woman who suffered serious leg and abdominal wounds after being involved in an accident on August 22 has succumbed to her injuries.
Bankstown police said the woman, 81, died in Liverpool Hospital about 3.30pm on Saturday.
Police said the woman was struck while crossing Peffer St on August 22 by a vehicle turning right from Anderson Ave into Peffer St.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the elderly woman at the scene before she was transported to Liverpool Hospital.
Police said the woman driver, 44, of the vehicle was uninjured and taken to Bankstown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police said they are investigating the accident and are appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
