A disqualified driver who was allegedly caught driving more than 60km/h over the limit in the Royal National Park will face court next month.

The 24-year-old woman was detected driving at 145km/h in an 80km/h zone on Lady Wakehurst Dr in Otford.

Sutherland Traffic and Highway Patrol Command officers detected the VW Gold hatch and pulled the driver over, who produced an international driver’s licence.

Checks revealed the Chinese national’s NSW Learner’s Licence was disqualified until 2021 and she was issued a field court attendance notice to appear at Sutherland Local Court on December 13.

The woman was also fined $2435 and lost six demerit points for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
