An over-45s football player and multi-level marketer specialising in protein powders has faced court after police allege he bashed a 13-year-old boy who filmed an on-field scrap during his football match.
Rockdale City Suns over-45s player Tony Patrulovski, 51, denies the charges of assault causing actual bodily harm and intimidation after police allege he lunged at the teen as he filmed an on-field fight during Patrulovski’s game in Carss Park at 4.45pm on July 25.
Police say the boy was left with scratches to his neck, chest and back after the alleged assault.
Patrulovski was arrested at his Rockdale home later that night and charged with two offences.
He was granted bail and faced Sutherland Local Court on Wednesday, where his solicitor Louie Angelovski confirmed he would plead not guilty.
Patrulovski will face a hearing at Sutherland Local Court on May 7 next year.
The father of two runs a building design company and is significantly involved in Herbalife, a multi-level marketing scheme that sells smoothie powders and protein powders.
