LOCAL fireys have shown off a sneak peek inside the South Village development at Kirrawee ahead of its opening next week.
Italian eatery Criniti’s, popular yoga and pilates studio BodyMindLife, Lone Star Rib House, Guzman Y Gomez, Grill’d, Joe Jr, Umaya and ThaiRiffic will join major supermarkets Coles, Aldi, Priceline and Plus Fitness Gym.
The mammoth development’s shopping precinct will be gradually unveiled from November 14, with all stores due to open by Christmas.
Local artist Mulga will splash his colourful signature style throughout the centre, and an indoor playground will connect three courtyard areas of food, beverage and retail outlets.
A pop-up cinema will show films from Thursday to Sunday as part of the opening celebrations, which will also include local yoga sessions, live music and face painting.
Sutherland and Miranda Fire + Rescue posted pictures showing the new lifestyle precinct as they explored the site’s fire protection system before it goes online.
Mirvac head of retail Susan MacDonald said the centre would deliver a new convenient hub for local residents.
“Everything at South Village has been carefully curated to create an engaging environment offering new and modern choices in food and services, dining and wellbeing lifestyle pursuits,” Ms MacDonald said.
