Kristie Lea Dalton charged with contravening violence orders
A popular lash artist banned by a court order from contacting her ex has admitted barraging him with daily texts and calls when they broke up – continuing even after she was arrested and charged.

A glamorous lash artist has confessed to bombarding her ex-boyfriend with daily texts and calls while she was subject to an apprehended violence order preventing her from contacting him.
Kristie Lea Dalton, 32, was charged with contravening an apprehended violence order in June after her former partner of nine months told police she had texted, called or emailed him almost every day since she was legally prevented from speaking to him in May.
She faced Sutherland Local Court on Thursday charged with two identical offences after she resumed incessantly texting her ex the day after her initial arrest for contravening the AVO.
“The victim has asked Dalton to stop, though, feeling sorry for her, did not report these alleged breaches,” agreed police facts state.
“Over the following weeks the contact has intensified, causing the victim to feel harassed.”
When police attended the man’s Heathcote home on June 19, they observed Dalton actively texting the accused even as they reviewed the texts and calls he had received earlier that day.
Dalton was charged with contravening the apprehended violence order for a second time on June 24 when she began texting her ex yet again the day after she was first charged.
Magistrate Scott Nash at Sutherland Local Court sentenced Dalton to two 12-month conditional release orders without conviction.
Dalton will face Sutherland Local Court again on Wednesday charged with contravening an AVO, destroying property, intimidation, and using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend in a series of separate incidents unrelated to Thursday’s court appearance.
She has pleaded not guilty to those charges and will seek a hearing date.
Dalton is a well-known lash artist in the Sutherland Shire who runs her own business in Caringbah.
