The man accused of raping a seven-year-old girl in a Sydney dance studio bathroom and making dozens of frightening phone calls will have all 98 charges dealt with together at court in March.

Anthony Peter Sampieri is charged with allegedly committing horrific acts of sexual violence against the young girl after choking and binding her to subdue her and filming it at the dance school in Kogarah on November 15.

Alleged child rapist to remain behind bars

While he was in custody Sampieri was then charged with 87 further offences after he was accused of making “obscene’ and “offensive” phone calls over three months leading up to the alleged dance studio attack.

Sampieri did not appear on the audiovisual link as his case was adjourned to March 21 at Central Local Court.

The Department of Public Prosecutions has not consented to the summary jurisdiction, which means the alleged attack and the alleged phone calls will be dealt with together.
