Jessica Jansen charged with police assault at Caringbah Pub
Police will allege a glamorous Sydney woman assaulted two cops after she was ejected from a Sutherland Shire pub for being “intoxicated, quarrelsome and disorderly” on her birthday weekend. The executive assistant has pleaded not guilty.

A glamorous Sydney executive assistant has denied assaulting two police officers after she was thrown out of a Sutherland Shire pub because she was allegedly “intoxicated, quarrelsome and disorderly”.
Mother Jessica Jansen, 33, was charged with two counts of assaulting police, two counts of common assault and remaining near a licensed premises after she was excluded from Caringbah Pub on her birthday weekend in October 2019.
Police allege at about 11pm on October 5 – two days before her 33rd birthday – Jansen was ejected from the pub on the Kingsway but refused to leave the vicinity.
“Jessica Jansen did, without reasonable excuse, remain in the vicinity of the Caringbah Hotel (as) a person who was refused admission … due to being intoxicated, quarrelsome and disorderly,” court documents state.
Jansen then allegedly assaulted a male constable and a female constable who attended the scene.
The self-described “full-time executive assistant, part-time plant killer” and “coffee addict” has pleaded not guilty to all five charges.
Jansen was to face a hearing at Sutherland Local Court on Friday but it was adjourned because certain witnesses were unable to attend court on the day.
Due to significant delays in the local court system caused by COVID-19 disruption, Jansen will now have to wait for a hearing until December 10.
On Instagram Jansen described herself as “fluent in sarcasm”.
