A popular Sydney restaurant is now delivering meals in style via limousine, snatching back profits from delivery apps and supporting local business through the coronavirus pandemic.
Jensens Restaurant in Kareela will now deliver their mouth-watering meals via limos from Shire Connect Limousines for an isolation-proof luxury food delivery service that arrives directly at your front door.
The deluxe delivery service allows the restaurant to avoid giving up a percentage of their profits to common food delivery apps such as UberEats and Deliveroo while supporting Shire Connect during the coronavirus pandemic.
“This has to be the craziest idea we have ever had but let’s be honest nothing in the world is normal right now,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.
“The suited drivers from Shire Connect Limousines will pick up our food and cocktails and deliver to your front door in their luxury vehicle and their warm smiles.”
The $10 delivery fee will go directly to Shire Connect Limousines to allow them to continue operating during these unprecedented times, while Jensens continues providing the up-market meals patrons know and love across the Shire.
The restaurant constantly refreshes their delivery menu to keep customers coming back for a taste of something different, with their offerings ranging from pasta and pizzas to roast duck, black angus eye fillet and lamb rump.
The menu also includes desserts and a range of the restaurant’s signature cocktails in bottles to go so patrons can enjoy a tipple in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
