An alleged Comanchero bikie associate who police say had 10 bags of cocaine stashed in his undies has denied any involvement in commercial drug supply.

Harry Koupparis, 30, was charged with supplying cocaine alongside his business partner Alan Ian Marshall, 24, in March after police pulled over their electrical services work van in Wolli Creek on March 25.

Police allegedly extracted bags of cocaine weighing 5.98g from Koupparis’ undies and 27.8g of cocaine in a vacuum-sealed plastic bag from Marshall’s person.

A subsequent raid at Koupparis’ Arncliffe unit allegedly uncovered almost 900g of cocaine in a safe in his bedroom.

At Downing Centre District Court on Friday, Koupparis pleaded not guilty to supplying 842.42g of cocaine – a commercial quantity – and supplying 5.98g of cocaine.

He will face a five-day trial beginning May 24.

A police raid at Marshall’s Brighton Le Sands apartment uncovered $36,500 hidden in various lockboxes and wardrobe compartments, testosterone, Nandrolone, Trenbolone, Oxymetholone and Prasterone.

Koupparis’ solicitor Ertunc Ozen previously told the court the safe full of cocaine could only be accessed by a key held exclusively by Marshall.

“The Crown case is that he was acting under the control of this person, Alan Marshall,” Mr Ozen said.

“There is no indication he had any access to that safe and it appears as though Mr Marshall has gone to some care to make sure he was the only person that could access that safe.”

Koupparis spent a number of weeks behind bars on remand after he was refused bail at Sutherland Local Court on the drug supply charges.

He was subsequently granted bail in the Supreme Court after his mother put the $3m family home on the line for his liberty ahead of his trial.

Marshall has now pleaded guilty to cocaine supply, testosterone possession and dealing with almost $40,000 in crime proceeds.

His matter will return to court on October 22.
