Their garlic sauce is the stuff of legends – the kind of food you would travel across town for over and over again – but now one of Sydney’s most iconic chicken shops is setting up in the heart of St George.
El Jannah will open a new restaurant in Kogarah this Saturday, sending foodies, chicken lovers and toum (garlic) worshippers into fits of ecstasy as they will be able to get their charcoal chicken fix right at home.
The beloved restaurant opened its first store in Granville in 1998, and has steadily expanded across western Sydney to Penrith, Punchbowl, Campbelltown and Blacktown in recent years.
Their delicious charcoal chicken and falafel comes on its own, in rolls, in burgers or in meal packs with chips, salads and their signature Lebanese sauces.
El Jannah opens on Saturday, January 26 at 100 Railway Pde, Kogarah.
