Cronulla, Blakehurst residents charged in Sydney drug busts
A pregnant woman allegedly selling cocaine and a teenager police say had 1000 pills in her bra and her body are among four southern Sydney residents charged with serious drug supply offences.

A citywide crackdown on drug supply has netted four alleged dealers with more than 1000 party pills, 13g of cocaine and thousands of dollars’ cash between them in Sydney’s south, police say.
A 24-year-old pregnant woman and a 25-year-old man were charged with prohibited drug supply after police allegedly found more than 13g of cocaine hidden in an energy drink can when their car was stopped on Elouera Rd, Cronulla, on November 30.
Police also allegedly found $2970 in cash and four mobile phones in the car during the search.
The man and woman were also charged with dealing with the proceeds of crime and were granted strict conditional bail to face Sutherland Local Court on January 9 next year.
In a separate incident, a Blakehurst teenager was also charged with allegedly concealing 1000 pills on her body at a hardstyle music festival in Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday.
Police allege the 18-year-old woman had 800 caps of MDMA in her bra and another 200 concealed internally after a drug dog detection led to a strip search at Epik Music Festival.
The woman was charged with commercial prohibited drug supply and prohibited drug possession after police also allegedly found her with ketamine.
She was granted bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on January 14 next year.
Another Blakehurst woman, 24, was also charged at Epik Music Festival with indictable prohibited drug supply after she was allegedly found with 50 MDMA caps.
She is also due at Burwood Local Court on January 14 next year.
They were among seven people charged with drug supply at the festival.
Following the cocaine crackdown across Sydney where 84 people were charged, Redfern Region Enforcement Squad commander Stuart Bell warned people who flouted the law by supplying drugs would be caught.
“NSW Police are disappointed that so many people continue to put their lives and the lives of others at risk by supplying prohibited drugs,” Det Chief Insp Bell said.
