Commuters should expect delays on a Sydney train line after urgent track repairs needed to be carried out on Wednesday afternoon.
Train-goers are being urged to allow extra travel time due to urgent track repairs at Central causing havoc on the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line, South Coast Line.
The affected routes are Bondi Junction to Waterfall or Cronulla; Waterfall or Cronulla to Bondi Junction; Bomaderry or Port Kembla to Central and Bondi Junction and Bondi Junction and Central to Bomaderry or Port Kembla.
Transport for NSW advises that stops may change at short notice with some with some trains running via the City Circle. Services may be less frequent from Central heading towards Bondi Junction.
Commuters are encouraged to use local buses in the area, to listen for announcements and check information screens before getting on trains.
