A controversial Insta-famous cafe owner has put the boot in to Premier Gladys Berejiklian, telling her on social media “the boys need haircuts”.
Roman Urosevski, owner of the popular Son of a Baker, posted a message to the 26,000 followers of the cafe’s official Instagram page on Friday night slamming the government response to the pandemic.
“May god help us all, because this government won’t”, the Instagram story stated. “The boys need haircuts. The people need to pay rent and mortgages. When is enough enough. How do we allow this. We are in this together, yes you and I … but not the dictating politicians on their $500,000 salaries.”
The Instagram story, which included a selfie of Mr Urosevski, tagged the Instagram handle of Ms Berejiklian.
Five hours later a second Instagram story was posted which appeared to show the first Instagram story had received more than 100 replies. Text on the Instagram story suggested only one person was “salty”.
The Instagram stories came less than a month after the cafe owner took “accountability” for the fear and anxiety he had caused by attending the alarming anti-lockdown rally in July.
At the time Mr Urosevski took to social media and said he ensures every Son of a Baker location runs with the “utmost care and regard for the health and safety of the public” as well as employees.
“I’m with you, I understand your anger and frustration,” Mr Urosevski said.
“Emotions are extremely high, we are all tired, and we are living in a daily state of anxiety and fear which all takes a toll.”
