Arabella Del Busso pleads not guilty to stealing from employer

A model and ex-NRL WAG will fight police allegations she stole tens of thousands of dollars from her former employer, where she worked as a receptionist.

Lingerie model, reality TV star and ex-NRL WAG Arabella Del Busso will fight two charges arising from allegations she stole more than $52,000 from her former employer.

The former partner of then-Wests Tigers player Josh Reynolds has been charged with two counts of stealing property from an employer following a lengthy investigation by detectives from St George police in Sydney’s south.

Court documents reveal police will allege Del Busso stole $35,785 from Rheumatology Specialist Care in Kogarah – which is now known as Integrated Specialist Medical Care – between September 2019 and February 2020.

Police will further allege Del Busso stole $16,565 from the clinic’s Randwick location over the same period.

Del Busso has so far not been required to attend Sutherland Local Court, where the matters are currently running, due to the Sydney and Melbourne Covid-19 lockdowns preventing her from travelling to NSW from her Port Melbourne home.

The lingerie model has now enlisted a solicitor through Legal Aid to represent her, and he entered pleas of not guilty to both charges when the matter returned to court on Tuesday.

The matter will next be mentioned at Sutherland Local Court on September 21.

It is understood Del Busso then worked as a receptionist for the Integrated Specialist Medical Care’s clinics in Kogarah and Randwick.

On its website, Integrated Specialist Medical Care describes itself as a “team of dedicated specialists specialising in the management of inflammatory joint disorders, neurological conditions and diseases and disorders of the kidneys”.

It adds: “Our practitioners are skilled in diagnosis, making sense of your symptoms, providing you with an understanding of what’s wrong, but also helping you to understand how we can work together to restore you to good health.

“We work with physiotherapists, dietitians, exercise physiologists and other medical specialists to formulate a structured management plan so that you can see the path ahead.”

The clinic also has locations in Moore Park and Macquarie Park.

Del Busso burst into the limelight during her high-profile relationship with NRL player Josh Reynolds.

Their relationship broke down when Reynolds was charged with allegedly assaulting Del Busso during a domestic incident – but the charges were later dropped in February 2020.

In October 2020 Del Busso appeared on the latest season of the Seven Network’s reality show SAS Australia, in which celebrities are challenged to endure SAS training.

Del Busso is not subject to bail conditions prior to her next court appearance.
