He’s not even in his teens yet but Cooper Grant has already done something some golfers, including his own father, go their entire careers without achieving.

The Sydney schoolboy has nailed a hole in one not once, but twice in the last year.

Cooper achieved the extraordinary feat for the second time on his way to a recent competition win at St Michaels Golf Club at Little Bay.

“It was one the third hole. I used a three wood, it went up the hill and went in,” said Cooper, who plays off 10.

“It was my second hole in one. I did it last year as well.”

Cooper, who tested himself at the recent Brett Ogle junior masters in Goulburn, said he likes the physical and mental side of golf.

“I like the game, I like competing and getting better,’’ said the student from Malabar Public who has been in the St Michael’s junior program since he was six.

“I like to challenge myself to get better.

“I want to be a pro golfer one day, travelling and playing new courses because I really enjoy testing myself.’’

Cooper said he had a gold club in his hands before he could walk and now trains around three hours a day after school.
