Waratah young guns have been rewarded for more success on the field in the national rugby championships by having the spotlight ahead of their weekend bye.
Junior Wallabies coach Nathan Grey put nine Waratahs in his Team of the Week after the under 16s matches and five from the Tahs in his in his under 19s selections.
This means the Gen Blue players snared almost half the spots in the two Teams of the Week revealed on rugby.com.au.
Max Meagher (2), Edwin Langi (3), Luca Cleverley (6), Marshall Le Maitre (7), Alex Conti (10), Charlie Poynton (11), Joe Walsh (12), Leo Jacques (13) and Mitch Woods (15) all made the cut in the 16s.
Oskar Hicks (5) and Clem Halaholo (6) were named in the 19s along with teammates Dan Nelson (9), Jack Bowen (10) and Tom Morrison (14).

This was again the most from one club.
The Waratahs have the bye this round. The Rebels take on the Brumbies and the Force meet the Reds in both age group in round four.
NATIONAL RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND THREE WRAP
MONDAY The battle to win the National U19, U16 rugby championships has intensified with the NSW Waratah Gen Blue teams unbeaten in both ages and into the decider after an interesting weekend of junior rugby action.
But who the talented Tahs will play is still very much up for grabs with upcoming matches crucial for their rivals.
While the Waratah U19 had a tougher job against the Melbourne Rebels in their match-up on Sunday, the 16s romped away to the biggest win of the entire series with a 13 try blitz against the junior Rebels.
Wins by both sides saw the Tahs remain undefeated in their three round matches.
The Queensland Reds also came up trumps in their tussles with the ACT Brumbies to keep alive their hopes of making the finals.
NATIONAL U16 RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS, SCORERS, LADDER AFTER RD 3
The Waratahs lead the U16 ladder with three wins from three games on 15 points.
Western Force are second with one win and one loss from their two games and on five points.
The Reds are third with one win and one loss and also on five points.
The Rebels are next with one win and one loss on four points and the Brumbies are fifth with no wins from their three outings.
U16 WARATAHS V MELBOURNE REBELS
In round three the young Waratah’s defeated the Rebels 81-0.
Charlie Poynton, Alex Conti, Mitch Woods and Leo Jacques scored two tries each with the others scored by Edwin Langi, Ollie Aboud, Zach Fittler, Toby Brial and Daniel Meafou.
U16 BRUMBIES V QUEENSLAND REDS
The Brumbies fell to the Reds 16-34 in this match-up.
Samuel Watson, Preston Laing-Sietu, John Grenfell and Cameron Philip scored for the Reds in the convincing win while Charlie O’Connell converted two.
Joseph Lonergan and Denzel Veikune scored the Brumbies tries.
NATIONAL U19 RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS, SCORERS, LADDER AFTER RD 3
In the 19s competition the Waratahs are on top of the leaderboard with three wins from three games and 13 points.
The Reds are second with one win and one loss and on six points. The Brumbies are third with one win and two losses on five points.
The Rebels our next with one win and one loss and four points and Force are fifth with no win from their first two outings and on just one point.
U19 WARATAHS V MELBOURNE REBELS
On Sunday the Waratahs defeated the Rebels 38-27 in the under 19’s competition.
Charlie Worthington, Oskar Hicks, Will Martin, Omar Noureddine and Philip Talaileva all scored for the Waratahs.
Jack Mathews converted three in the match.
Toby Fraser (2), PJ Mauga, Iverson Tolai Tafu and David Vaihu scored for the Rebels.
U19 BRUMBIES V QUEENSLAND REDS
The Queensland Red ran out convincing 40-3 winners over the Brumbies in their match-up.
Henry Mclaughlin-Phillips, Sam Farrar, Tim Ryan, Will McCulloch (2) and Tim Ryan scored for the Reds.
Taj Annan converted four and Mclaughlin-Phillips one.
Cullen Gray scored the Brumbies only points.
