It’s a season just about any football team in the country would envy.
Undefeated with 48 goals and just one goal scored against them.
It’s the proud record owned by senior girls team at Harbord Public School.
The team dominated the Primary Schools Sports Associations season to finish undefeated, beat Curl Curl 3-0 in the semi-final and then Beacon Hill 3-0 in the grand final.
The team were also involved in a state wide soccer knockout, again going through undefeated before beating Shell Cove 2-1 in the decider.
“We all really support each other on the field,’’ said player Lucinda Mulcahy, 12, from Freshwater, who was co-captain of the team with Cecilia Velletta.

Coach Scott Addicott is justifiably proud of the side.

“Each player contributed to the team, they all played well together and we had a lot of fun along the way.’’
