Football NSW League One and Two are full of rising young talents who are set to be the future of football in the state.

After a hectic season, the grand final teams for each age group have been decided and are set to go head-to-head for the title this weekend.

Ahead of the grand finals, check out over 30 players anticipated to be game-changes for the deciders.

Youth League Two

Cameron is a hard worker on the pitch, trying to cover every blade of grass throughout the game. He’s a crucial part of the team’s structure and will be integral in controlling the game.

Sebastian Chee - Hakoah FC U13

Defender

Sebastian is a dependable defender and is the first to shut down any opposition attacks. He has a knack of spotting danger and always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Goalkeeper

Ben has been with Hakoah since U9s and has since evolved into a great leader, captaining the side to the grand final. He’s a great shot-stopper, knows how to work the game and has no fear.

Striker

Alessandro is a formidable striker known for his intelligence on the field with exceptional skill on and off the ball. His strong ability to finish in and around the box made him a lethal forward scoring 30 goals in 30 games during the year. His knack for being in the right place at the right time combined with his technical prowess proved him be a prolific forward.

Centre Midfield

Jeremy has seven years of experience with Hakoah and is great at leading from the front. He is relentless in defence and a box-to-box player. His leadership will be integral for a positive result in the final.

Shiran Rubinstein - Hakoah FC U15

Goalkeeper

Shiran has strong technical abilities between the sticks and knows how to handle the pressure. He was the hero of the team’s semi-final win over Bankstown United which went down to penalties, saving two for an 8-7 victory.

Cooper Marshall - Hakoah FC U15

Striker

Cooper was a new addition to the club this season but has made an instant impact. He delivered the bulk of goals for the team and if given free air, will be difficult to shut down on attack.

Zayan personifies the tagline of ‘cool, calm and collected’. A centre back who plays on a different rhythm and can change games with a pause and gift of a pass.

Obadiah Davids - St George FC U16

Goalkeeper

Obi is the conductor of play for St George, both with his feet and voice. He owns big moments with huge saves and enjoys the pressure of penalties to decide a game.

Alvaro is a great dribbler of the ball. The teams top goal scorer and is also one of the highest goal creators.

Declan is a very skilful and fast winger, he has great ability to get in behind defences and he has a great eye for goal scoring 22 goals this season.

Central Midfielder

Evan has a great passing range, he also reads the game well and has an extremely good understanding of finding space on the pitch. His technical ability and quality on the ball is also a pleasure to watch

Captain/midfielder

The captain in the heart of the midfield whose responsibility to assist in our build up with an excellent passing game to assist in providing the link up play.

Lukas Webber - Bulls FC Academy U18

Central defender

Lukas is a leader in defence and organises the last line with high energy and determination. He ensures the opposition have a difficult time trying to penetrate the line and sparks the team’s build up play.

Forward

Atem is not only a threat in front of goal, but also assists in the front third to score girls. He leads the front line and is the talisman of the team.

Harry Parsa - Sydney FC U13

Captain/defender

Harry is the team’s captain who leads from the centre of defence. He demands excellence from his teammates while leading through words and actions. He plays with composure well above his age consistently looking to play forwards. His ability to carry the ball forwards is a potential game changer each and every match.

Mateo Barrosa - Sydney FC U13

Midfielder

Small in stature but huge in heart, Mateo is a dynamic midfielder who thrives on running the ball and jinking past defenders. He oozes Sydney FC DNA, coupling his ball running ability with the use of give and go. He loves scoring and won’t hesitate to shoot when free.

Lochie Schumacher - Sydney FC U13

Lochie is the engine in the midfield that makes the team tick. He will cover every blade of grass on the pitch with a tireless work ethic. He has an eye for a killer-pass and will play them when you last expect it. A real threat from set pieces.

Sebastian Spinozzi - Sydney FC U14

Goalkeeper

Sebastian is an influential ball playing goalkeeper who looks to build attacks from the deep. His goalkeeping is proactive and he has exceptional shot stopping abilities make him a potential matchwinner on the Saturday.

Julian Catanzariti - Sydney FC U14

Centre back

Julian is a dominant centre back who is outstanding at winning duels. He is a fierce competitor who couples great composure with aggression and lead by example. From centre back Julian can dictate the game with the ball through his exceptional dribbling and passing ability.

Ryder Webster - Sydney FC U14

Midfielder

Ryder is a dominant player who will influence the game by running the ball from midfield and looking to give and go and finish things off in the box. He is an intelligent midfielder who creates goal scoring opportunities through his impressive range of passing.

Will McCreery - Manly United U16

Striker

Will has been key to our success as a team, scoring 25 goals in the season. He aggressively gets in behind the defensive line or takes players on 1v1s, being ruthless inside the box. He has also scored from outside the box striking the ball with power. Defensively he is the first defender for the team when the opposition has the ball, he is aggressive and tough to beat.

James Foldes - Manly United U16

Centre back

Jimmy is a brilliant 1v1 defender who is aggressive in stepping and denying time and space for opposition front players. Offensively he adds a lot to the team with composure and confidence on the ball. His passing range and speed to step in can be decisive in breaking the opposition’s defensive block.

Louis Jones - Manly United U16

Goalkeeper

Louis is a leader from the back, he is a solid shot-stopper, and proactively aggressive in getting out to defend crosses or long balls in behind the defenders. With the ball, he is a modern goalkeeper with composure on the ball and a brilliant passing technique to find players in between or in behind the lines.

Rocco Macnamara - Sydney United 58 U16

Captain

A fierce leader by example, Rocco Macnamara has been a crucial figure in Sydney United’s success this season. The captain will look to lead his team out against Manly United to complete a prestigious double.

Tomi Ozanic - Sydney United 58 U16

Midfielder

The mastermind behind the team’s play, Tomi Ozanic will be the key to breaking through the opposition’s defence. Ozanic will be pulling the strings from deep, directing the pace of the game and sending cross field balls. His creativity will be essential for United’s flow.

Gabriel Tilo - Sydney United 58 U16

Winger

If you’re unsure, give the ball to Gabriel Tilo. The speedy player is a major threat when he drives at defences, drawing players out of their line and beating them with ease. His ability to get out of a tight spot will be vital this weekend.

Sam Griffiths - Manly United U18

Striker

Sam plays striker for the team and has all the traits required to play at a high level. He is strong, fast and can hold the ball up and receive between the lines, as well as run in behind. Sam is a great dribbler, possessing close control and good balance. He combines well with teammates in and around the box, and can finish on his left, right or with the head.

Aston Hulme - Manly United U18

Right wing

Aston is relentless in his pursuit of 1v1 duels, is never phased by losing the ball and is always ready to go at his direct opponent. Alongside his body feints and trickery, Aston also has great crossing ability either from deep or from around the penalty box and is a constant threat running in behind the last line of defence.

Caelan Marshall-Witte - Manly United U18

Fullback

Caelan is an excellent 1v1 defender, whether the ball is in the air or on the ground, he rarely loses a duel and can often be seen recovering to win duels for his teammates as well. Caelan plays in the inverted right back role and has also been a crucial part to creating a +1 in the midfield for our build up play.
