HAROLD MATTHEWS
TALEN RISATI
One of the most exciting dual-code talents in the game who is still yet to turn 17. Risati was a key member of the Waratahs campaign in the U16s and was rewarded with selection in the Australian U16s team.
Returns to Parramatta for his second stint of Harold Matthews footy as a running five-eighth. The Eels will be desperate to keep him in league.
CYRUS BLOOMFIELD
Another who has performed exceptionally in both codes, Bloomfield is a talented winger who was also included in the Australian U16s rugby union squad.
Returns for another season at the U17s level and with some quality inside him, there’s no reason why he can’t contend for the leading tryscorer honour.
KORDELL PRITCHARD
Makes the move across from the St George Dragons where he performed well as a barnstorming centre.
Has featured in club footy for Minchinbury and Cabramatta at fullback, so it will be interesting to see where the new recruit will feature.
SAMUEL POLLEY
A strong season this year saw him chosen to represent the City U16s and the back rower will only improve in his second year at this level.
Was also part of the Waratahs squad in the Super Rugby U16s competition this year, also resulting in Australian selection along with Risati and Bloomfield.
STRANTZ SCHAUMKEL
Joins Parramatta after he spent the season with the Balmain Tigers in his first crack at Harold Matthews.
Featured as a middle forward during that campaign and he will give the Eels plenty of mongrel and size as an impact player.
LISA FIAOLA
BAILEY MA-CHONG
Finished the season in fifth on the pointscoring tally as the club’s first choice goalkicker, and was in a share of 12th for tries scored with six for the season.
It’s no surprise the Eels want to keep the dummy half in their system. She looks like a very progressive type who will be pushing for a HNWP stint later in the year.
FREEDOM CRICHTON ROPATI
The niece of Panthers star Brian To’o, Crichton Ropati returns for her second season of Fiaola Cup where she featured on the wing.
Led the Metro Gold competition in tries where she helped Cabramatta to claim the comp with a grand final hat-trick.
IRAE SAVEA
Will give the Eels versatility as an outside back or fullback, where she played for Mounties in the club season.
Makes the move to Parramatta from the Sydney Roosters and she will certainly act as a strike weapon with her blistering pace on an edge.
SHARON LATAPU
The halfback is another who returns for her second Fiaola season and there was a lot to like about the way she led the team this year.
Featured for Sydney against Country in rugby union last year and she boasts a fantastic game knowledge. Very exciting prospect.
CATEA DUFF
A nice pick-up from the Rabbitohs and comes off a brilliant Schoolgirls Cup campaign with Hills Sports High.
Mostly featured at lock with South Sydney and we’ve seen her perform strongly for Manly in the Madison Ashby 7s also.
SG BALL
RYDA TALAGI
The younger brother of Blaize, Eels fans will be delighted that the talented prop forward will remain in the blue and gold next year.
Was a standout for NSW CHS at the ASSRL Championships on the back of a brilliant Harold Matts campaign. Can solidify his place as one of the best middle forwards in the division.
JAYDEN CARTER
Makes the transition from western Sydney rivals Penrith and he’ll be looking to lock down the fullback role for 2025.
Scored five tries for the Panthers throughout the Harold Matthews season, can kick goals and the Brothers Penrith junior looks one to light it up next year.
ANDES JOHANSSON
Featured in the centres for the Eels in the U17s last year and would be no surprise to see him take to SG Ball with ease.
The Rouse Hill Rhinos junior is a big boy and his size will create plenty of headaches for opposing outside backs.
CAMERON BAMBLETT
Another from the Penrith system who will join Parramatta and he could prove to be an extraordinary signing for the Eels.
A very classy five-eighth who spent two years with the Panthers in Harold Matts, he could form a very formidable partnership in the halves with Lincoln Fletcher.
DOMINIC FARRUGIA
The goalkicking winger will be a key man for the Eels in 2025 after kicking the second most goals in the comp this year.
Was around the Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup set-up at the back end of the season and will be looking to prove he deserves a shot at the higher level.
TARSHA GALE
RYVRR-LEE ALO
How much we’ll see of Alo in Gale next year is a mystery as the Eels will no doubt have her in their NRLW plans for 2025.
Made the step up to HNWP level after representing the NSW U19s and finished it off by playing for the Cook Islands in the Pacific Championships.
Huge upside.
CHLOE BEAZLEY
The Cabramatta junior makes the move across from South Sydney where she was predominantly used on the wing.
Has featured at club level at centre and will be looking for a more of a shot to show what she can do. Has the talent.
DANIELLE SECKOLD
Coming off a breakout season in league, starting the season in Fiaola and finishing as the regular winger for minor premiers Wentworthville in HNWP.
Represented the City U17s and there’s no reason why the flashy winger won’t handle the step up to U19s.
LEYLA OUEIK
The second rower will make the step up from Fiaola where she had a very strong season for both the Eels and then backed it up with All Saints Toongabbie.
She’s no stranger to the tryline and will be on a high after representing the Lebanon U17s last month.
FONTAYNE TUFUGA
She was a regular in the HNWP side, featuring in eight games for the Eels in the second row as a young player.
Averaged more than two tackle breaks per game and was defensively sound, two characteristics that will see her excel in her first year of Tarsha Gale.
