An elderly man has fronted court for allegedly sexually touching a young boy on two separate occasions while catching buses in Maroubra and Randwick.
Zheng Lu Wang, 70, from Campsie, denied the serious allegations in court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to three charges of intentionally sexually touch a child.
Wang was charged last month by police following an investigation into the alleged incidents which date back to October and December last year.
Police will allege in court that Wang caught a bus in Randwick on Friday, October 18 – just after school finishing time – and allegedly sexually touched two boys aged 11 and 12.
He left the bus a short time later in Maroubra.
In a second incident, during the morning of Thursday, December 5, police will allege in court he caught a bus from Maroubra and sat down next to one of the same alleged victims, the 12-year-old boy.
Police will allege in court Wang sexually touched the boy again before leaving the bus.
Police searched his unit in Campsie as part of their investigation and seized clothing and electronic items.
Wang fronted Waverley Local Court on Wednesday along with his lawyer. Magistrate Ross Hudson accepted pleas of not guilty on all three charges and adjourned the matter until October 13.
He remains on bail.
