Shute Shield finals race: Clubs who can make cut after Rd 10 and their run to the finals
A complete reshuffle of the top six could be on the cards in the finals rounds of Shute Shield. What are the chances of your club making the cut?

The makeup of the Shute Shield finals series is “as clear as mud” with just three rounds of the premier club rugby competition to be played out.
Eight teams still have a mathematically chance of making the cut but more realistically seven are vying for the honours.
But so close is the competition, even the minor premiership is still up for grabs.
Gordon still sits on top of the ladder despite Northern Suburbs becoming the first team to take a win of the side this season in the weekend.

And with eight wins and a loss each these two look a safe bet to be in the finals.
But the waters become increasingly murky further down the ladder.

“It is going to be close. One to six could all still change,” said Eastwood coach Ben Batger.
“Dare I say it but it will all come down to the final round.
It’s great to have a tight competition.”
Gordon and Norths lead the ladder with eight wins and one loss each.
Eastwood and Randwick, who have both played 10 games, are next with seven wins and three losses.
In 5th to 7th place are Sydney University, Eastern Suburbs and Southern Districts with six wins and three losses each.
Warringah is in eighth place with four wins and five losses.

Eastwood 47 Penrith 14
Eastwood scored an important win over Penrith to strengthen their hopes of making the finals.
Run to the Finals: Eastwood has a bye in round 11 and then are up against Warringah in round 12 and the inform Gordon in round 13.
In Saturday’s match Eastwood’s tries was scored by Alex Pappalardo, Ratu Tuisese, Max Stewart, Jack Lafolafo, Sione Tau and Ed Craig.
Penrith were awarded a penalty try with Dean Blore also scoring.

Gordon 13 Norths 24
A big win for Northern Suburbs who have put themselves in the face for the minor premiership by knocking of the previously undefeated Gordon.
Run to the Finals: Norths play Southern Districts in round 11, Sydney University in round 12 and then Warringah in round 13.
Run to the Finals: Gordon plays Sydney University in round 11, Penrith in round 12 and Eastwood in round 13.
Denzel Burns scored his first try of the Shute Shield with Jack Dempsey going over for Gordon’s only other try of the game.
Norths tries were scored by Gary Bautz, Max Burey, James Margan and Reece Mau’u.
Manly 5 Eastern Suburbs 22
Eastern Suburbs have continued their winning run to confirm they are a major player for the finals well Manly have bowed out of the race.
Run to the Finals: Easts will play Penrith in round 11, the Two Blues in round 12 and Randwick in round 13.
On Saturday Jeremy Williams, Daniel Donata, Alex Newsome and Archer Holz scored for the Beasties in Saturday’s win.
Yool Yool scored Manly’s only try of the match.
Sydney University 24 Randwick 42
A crucial and entertaining win by Randwick to keep them in the running for a play-off spot.
Run to the Finals: Randwick play Manly in round 11, have a bye in round 12 and then face Eastern Suburbs in round 13.
Run to the Finals: Sydney University play Gordon in round 11, Northern Suburbs in round 12 and the Two Blues in round 13.
In Saturday’s encounter Randwick dominated from the start.
Mitch Short, Triston Riley (2) Tom Molloy, Christian Poidevin, and Brooklyn Hardaker scored Randwick’s tries.
Declan Moore, Jack McCalman, Ben Hughes and Rohan O’Regan scored the Students tries.
Warringah 58 Two Blues 15
A must-win game for Warringah who are still a mathematical chance of making the cut.
The Two Blues are not in the race.
Run to the Finals: Warringah’s run to the finals will see them play the Hunter Wildfires in round 11, Eastwood in round 12 and then Northern Suburbs in round 13.
On Saturday Tyson Davies, Sebastian Wileman, Charlie Tupu, Benjamin Marr (2) Joshua Holmes (3) and Rory Suttor went over for the Rats.
Nicholas Tongi and Talafi Pongi scored for the Two Blues.

Southern Districts 49 Hunter Wildfires 24
A must win match for Southern Districts who have their backs against the wall in the rush for the finals.
The Newcastle side is out of the race for the play-offs.
Run to the Finals: Southern Districts play Northern Suburbs in round 11, Manly in round 12 and West Harbour in round 13.
On Saturday Zac Hickey, Deon Evans-Ao, Brandon Finnegan, Nathan Lawson (2) and Nathan Lawson scored for Souths.
Brendan Holliday, Taylor Acheson and Nimilote Qio scores for Newcastle.
West Harbour: Bye
West Harbour are out of the race for the finals.
