IT was a highly successful weekend for Randwick Petersham Cricket with wins for four out of the five grades.

Perhaps the standout performance came from first grade spinner Riley Ayre who took 4/30 off 10 overs.

He claimed two wickets in his first over against North Sydney to take the game away from the Bears as they were bowled out for 143. David Warner scored 15 off nine balls but it was Shaun Eaton (43*) who made sure the side remains undefeated this season.

Second grade also continued their impressive start with a 35-run win at Coogee Oval as Jack Lyle (74) and Kush Ram (3/38 off 7) put in standout performances.

The side now sit in second spot on the ladder, one point behind first place and the new leadership of Mitch Calder appears to be working wonders.

The bowling attack in third grade again terrorised the opposition batsmen, as 16-year-old Alex Deller (4/22 off 8) and Doug Loth (3/34 off 10) helped bowl out the Bears for 170 after the Randy Petes made 194 in their innings.

Contributions from Ben Montedoro (30), Dylan Powell (33) and Kel Mullins (31) were enough to post a total too much for the home side to handle.

Fourth grade scored 86 which was chased down easily by their opponents for the loss of three wickets.

Fifth grade claimed another hard-fought victory with a fantastic spell from Dane Coombs, who took 3/19 off 6 to help bowl North Sydney out for 121. The Randy Petes scored 8/146 in their innings with veteran Neale Crawford (34) and Will Hutchinson (25) the pick of the batsmen.
