Kingsford: Police searching for three men over armed robbery
A security guard has been assaulted during an armed robbery in Sydney’s southeast which saw three men take off with a cash register.

A security guard has been assaulted during an armed robbery in Kingsford overnight which saw three men take off with a cash register.
Police are looking for the three men and investigating the incident which happened shortly before 3am on Thursday at a licensed venue on Anzac Parade.
Police have been told three males – armed with a knife – entered the venue before threatening staff and a security guard.
The security guard, a 32-year-old man, was assaulted before the alleged offenders stole a cash register and left in a vehicle described as a silver hatchback.
The injured man was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment of a head injury.
No patrons were injured during the incident.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police established a crime scene which has been examined by forensic police.
As inquiries continue, detectives would like to speak to the three males, not further described, who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
