Eastgardens fatal crash: Scooter rider was from Little Bay
A scooter rider who died in hospital following a crash near Westfield Eastgardens was from Little Bay, it has been revealed. It comes as the driver of a Mitsubishi Challenger - also involved in the crash - has been ordered to face court.

A scooter rider who died in hospital at the weekend following a crash near Westfield Eastgardens lived in Little Bay.
A 29-year-old man died following the awful crash on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Fitzgerald Ave and Bunnerong Rd. He has since been named as sailor Daniel Walsh.
The crash involved a Mitsubishi Challenger and a Yamaha scooter.
Police have confirmed the scooter rider, who was ejected from his scooter in the crash and later died in hospital, was from Little Bay.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 22-year-old man from Hillston in country NSW, has been charged with negligent driving occasioning death and will front court in July.
The intersection is located in a school zone outside Champagnat Catholic College, near Westfield Eastgardens.
