An ex-Finks bikie used a special encryption device to co-ordinate the supply of almost $500,000 worth of meth while holidaying in Bali.

Corey Spagnol, 30, was arrested by police last August on the day he arrived back from Bali and hit with two drug supply charges for supplying 5kg of methylamphetamine.

His arrest followed an extensive police investigation dating back to September 2018.

Spagnol used an encrypted mobile phone ‘ciphr’ device with the username ‘The General’ to organise the supply of methylamphetamine in Greenacre in October 2018.

Police allege while holidaying in Bali in October, a drug supply was arranged between Spagnol and associates to supply another man with five kilograms of methylamphetamine for $92,000 per kg, according to the crown documents.

The court was told the first transaction took place on October 11 2018 while police were watching on.

Cops searched Spagnol’s then Gregory Hills home on August 22 2019, when the ex bikie was in Bali, and allegedly seized six vials of steroidal agents and $5,000 cash.

A week later, police arrested him in his home on the day he arrived back from his family holiday.

Spagnol, who now lives in Maroubra, fronted Burwood Local Court on Wednesday wearing cropped black skinny jeans showing off his ankle tattoos and a black buttoned down shirt.

In court, Spagnol pleaded guilty to supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.

His lawyer Jessica Fahmy said the second charge was withdrawn and the police prosecutor tendered facts to the court saying that they were “disputed.”

Spagnol made headlines back in 2016 when he and another Finks bikie were bashed by a group of Rebels bikies at Clarendon Tavern in Sydney’s northwest.

Corey Spagnol now faces the prospect of a jail sentence.

Spagnol, who is on bail, will reappear at Sydney District Court next month for sentence.
