Alicia Lecroix: Coogee alleged weapons stash

A woman has faced court after cops allegedly found a huge arsenal of weapons — including 12 rifles, two double-barrelled shotguns, six crossbows, 82 knives, 14 extendible batons and more — at a Coogee home.

A woman charged with stashing a huge arsenal of weapons inside a Coogee unit including shotguns and crossbows has fronted court.

Alicia Lecroix, 33, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with a string of offences following a public appeal to locate her.

Police allegedly seized 200 items including firearms and weapons during a raid of a unit on Wauhope Cres in South Coogee in March.

The search warrant allegedly uncovered 12 rifles, two double-barrelled shotguns, nine handguns, six crossbows, five paintball guns, 82 knives, 14 extendible batons, three cans of pepper spray, 11 handcuffs, four ballistic vests, firearm parts, ammunition, nunchakus, and knuckle dusters.

The items were seized to undergo forensic examination.

Lecroix was arrested at Waverley Police Station on Wednesday and fronted Central Local Court where she applied for bail.

Magistrate Robert Williams granted her bail with conditions including to report to police three times per week, not to drink alcohol or take drugs, and to reside in Bondi Junction.

Lecroix has been charged with 19 offences including 17 counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without a permit and two counts of possess unregistered firearm without a license.

She is due back in court in July.
