Peter Signorelli entering RunWest to raise money for Can Too Foundation
Kellyville Dad and regular marathon runner Peter Signorelli keeps pounding the pavement for those who can’t.

Peter Signorelli knows he doesn’t look like your typical marathon runner.
But the most important thing about long distance running isn’t about how you look or even how fit you are- it’s having a reason to keep running.
Since his first nine km fun run in 2017, the 39 year old from Kellyville has run for cancer support charity Can Too.
With that motivation behind him, Mr Signorelli has become a regular long distance runner- even completing two full marathons in Queenstown, New Zealand.
“I’m not built to be a runner,” Mr Signorelli said.
“I’m not six foot tall with muscles- I’m festively plump. But the running is the easy part. It’s all the other things that come with it that’s hard. You need to have that mental strength. You need to have a reason to run.
“I run for the people that can’t. In the back of my mind I’m helping find a cure for cancer or to help people live longer.”
Mr Signorelli has also taken part in a charity bike ride from Taronga Zoo to Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.
His next challenge will be the RunWest 12km Fun Run in March and he is encouraging everyone to sign up- no matter their fitness level.
“If I can do it, you can do it.”
