Second arrest made after police seize more than $200K cash, ice, cocaine
A 33-year-old man, of Mays Hills, has been arrested following a mammoth drug bust at Riverstone last year, where police seized more than $200,000 and 4kg of ice and cocaine.
A drug bust in Riverstone last year — when police allegedly seized more than $200,000 and 4kg of ice and cocaine — has led to another arrest.
Gian Carlo Embradora, 33, appeared at Fairfield Local Court today after being arrested in Mays Hill on Thursday on an outstanding warrant.
Police allege he was involved in the supply of 15kg of illicit drugs and have charged him with eight drug offences.
He was bail refused in court and his matter has been adjourned until September 20.
Mr Embradora’s arrest came after police conducted two search warrants at homes in North Rocks and Riverstone in April 2018. Police also arrested another man at the time.
Police allegedly seized drugs and cash at the Riverstone address including $210,000, 3kg of methylamphetamine (ice), 1kg of cocaine, and 500g of heroin — which were found in the roof of the home and in a vehicle.
Cash and encrypted mobile phones were also allegedly found at the North Rocks home.
Following extensive inquiries, detectives arrested Mr Embradora on Rees St in Mays Hill just after 10.30am on Thursday.
Police will allege in court that the man was involved in the supply of 12kg of cocaine and 3kg of ice.
He has been charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity), supply prohibited drug (small quantity), possess anabolic or androgenic steroidal agent, and two counts of knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
