Marsden Park: Driver allegedly led police on chase to the Hunter
A disqualified driver has been charged after allegedly being involved in dangerous police chase from Marsden Park.

A disqualified driver has been charged after allegedly leading police on a chase from Marsden Park to the Hunter Region at the weekend.
Traffic and Highway Patrol officers were patrolling Richmond Rd at Marsden Park at about 1.30am on Saturday when a Ford Territory station wagon was clocked at 130km/h in an 80km/h zone.
The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old Queensland man, allegedly failed to stop when flagged down by police.
Officers began a pursuit with driver in the allegedly unregistered vehicle.
Police say the chase continued for about 140km until the vehicle ran out of petrol on Putty Rd, Howes Valley, in the Hunter Region.
The driver then allegedly fled the car on foot to a nearby paddock. He was later found by police dogs hiding in long grass.
He was arrested and taken to Singleton Police Station, where he was charged with driving dangerously (police pursuit), driving while disqualified, using an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and using a vehicles with unauthorised plates.
He was refused bail to face Muswellbrook Local Court.
