A man and woman have been charged with assault and firearm offences following reports of a domestic assault in a home in Farmer Close on Saturday.

GLENWOOD

A man and woman have been charged with assault and firearm offences following reports of a domestic assault in a home in Farmer Close on Saturday. A police report said at 4am police were called to the home and found a woman, 64, had allegedly been assaulted but did not require treatment. Following investigations, police found and seized a replica pistol. Police arrested a man, 36, and a woman, 26. The man was charged with possess unauthorised pistol and not keep pistol safe. He was given conditional bail and will appear at Blacktown Local Court on March 20. The woman was charged with common assault and given conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Court.

KELLYVILLE

A woman returned a blood alcohol reading more than three times the legal limit after a collision at Kellyville on Saturday. About 1.30am at the intersection of Samantha Riley Drive and Windsor Rd a 2011 white Totota Hiace crossed onto the other side of the road colliding into a silver Toyota 4WD. No-one was seriously injured, however, police attended and the female driver of the Hiace was given a breath test which returned a positive result. She was taken to Castle Hill Police Station for a breath analysis which returned a reading of 0.186. As a result a Baulkham Hills woman, 28, is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Friday charged with negligent driving and high range prescribed concentration of alcohol in her blood.

STANHOPE GARDENS

A home in Dungara Crescent was ransacked and jewellery, mobile phones and a handbag stolen on Friday. A police report said the incident occurred between 2.30pm-4pm. Entry was gained through the removal of a flyscreen from the rear kitchen and forcing a lock on the ground floor window.

ROUSE HILL

Police wish to speak to a man who entered a store on Resolution Drive last Wednesday at 1.33pm and attempted to steal a $2000 Honda generator. A police report said the man entered the store and when the service attendant went out the back, the man took the generator and exited the store without paying for it. The offender put the generator on the tray on the back of his car. However. a witness followed the offender outside and managed to grab the generator out of the back of the car as it drove off and recovered it.

KELLYVILLE

Police are looking for two women, one aged in her 40s and the other aged in her 20s who took 12 bottles of alcohol valued at $906 from a display counter at a liquor store on Wrights Rd in Kellyville last Tuesday night.

WINDSOR

Police seized a starter pistol and drugs during the arrest of a man, 29, and a teenage girl, 16, in Macquarie Park, Windsor last Wednesday. At 9.15am police attended the location to arrest a man wanted by of a warrant for failing to appear in court on sexual assault and kidnapping charges. The man was located in a tent along with the teenage girl who both allegedly struggled with police before being arrested. Police seized a starter pistol and a small amount of a drug believed to be “ice”. The man was charged with the outstanding warrant, possess prohibited drug, possess unauthorised pistol, resist police and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The teenager was also charged and appeared at Parramatta Children’s Court on Thursday.
