FIRST home buyers have secured more than 80 per cent of house and land packages in Hillside Estate’s first release at Crown St, Riverstone.
Riverstone is opening up new releases and the buyers are taking advantage of the amenities close by to Crown St.
Most of the purchasers were from surrounding suburbs including Quakers Hill, Baulkham Hill and Schofields, a spokeswoman for the developers said.
She said 20 house and land packages have already sold, with a further 10 to be released soon. Land starts from $373,000 and house and land packages are priced from $609,000.
First home buyers Brittney (23) and Christian Fogliani (25) from Glendenning said they were purchased a land and house package because the area is close to schools and that her parents live nearby.
“We liked the fact that Riverstone is an up and coming suburb, the price was right and we are close to mum and dad in Marsden Park,” Ms Fogliani said.
“I was also drawn to the estate’s proximity to several schools, including Richard Johnson which will be handy for our future family.”
John Castellano, Group Sales and Marketing Manager for White Square Properties said he is not surprised this area has been very popular with first home buyers.
“The prices are very affordable compared to some of the neighbouring suburbs, including Box Hill, Schofields and Marsden Park,” Mr Castellano said.
“Riverstone purchasers are still accessing the same infrastructure and community facilities without the price tag.”
The new estate has a mix of three and four bed home packages comprising single and double storey with frontages up to 12 metres and is around three minutes to the train station.
Lot sizes range from 280 sqm to 383 sqm. Home sizes are from 15 to 25 squares.
