The daughter of renowned brain surgeon Charlie Teo did not appear in court today to face charges over her alleged involvement in a crash that left a former bikie boss in a critical condition.
Nicola Teo, 24, was arrested and charged after she was allegedly involved in the crash on September 25 at 3.30pm in the upper Hawkesbury town of Lower MacDonald with the founder of the Comanchero bikie club, William George ‘Jock’ Ross, causing the 76-year-old grievous bodily harm.
The 24-year-old’s lawyer, Darren Emery, told the Daily Telegraph she was not required to appear in court today with the case adjourned to February 6.
Teo last appeared at Windsor Court on October 18 to face charges including dangerous driving resulting in grevious bodily harm, negligent driving, not keeping left and failing to provide information to police over her alleged involvement in the serious crash at Settlers Rd, Lower MacDonald.
Police allege Teo was behind the wheel of a Toyota LandCruiser when the collision with Mr Ross’s Harley Davidson occurred, forecasting the 24-year-Old could be facing a lengthy sentence in jail.
Court documents also revealed police also allege she was driving for 200m on the wrong side of the road, before the incident occurred.
Ross was flown to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition with lower leg and internal injuries and refused the release of information about his condition.
