BABY Harrison from Marsden Park was a great start to the new year for mum Sarah Bickford and husband Kurt.
Harrison James Bickford arrived 10 days early, on New Year’s Day, to the delight of his family as it was the day after his grandfather Tom’s birthday and the day before his mum’s 27th.
“He was my best present for sure,” Mrs Bickford said.
She and husband Kurt were out with friend’s enjoying a New Year’s Eve dinner and planning to spend New Year’s Day on the beach.
“My waters broke at 2.30am,” she said.
The couple arrived at Norwest Private Hospital just after 3am.
Young Harrison arrived at 1.22pm weighing in at 3.5kg.
Mrs Bickford’s birthday was spent at hospital.
The first three babies born at Norwest Private in 2017 were boys.
Meanwhile Greenway federal Labor MP Michelle Rowland also welcomed her second baby, Aurelia, before Christmas. Aurelia was born on December 20, at 1.05am weighing 2.9kg and 48cm long.
