The tools taken from the popular takeaway joint were then used for attempted break-ins at nearby stores.

“The first time they smashed the camera system, which was $7000, then on Saturday they smashed heavy duty metal doors which will be around $3000 to replace.”

“We increase our security, get extra locks, extra things but whatever you do if they want to get in they, find a way,” Sunny said.

“Yes I am frightened, this has been happening because we’ve been targeted, and it could be more dangerous next time they might come during the day if they’re desperate.”

It comes as CTC Tobacconist at St Clair Shopping Centre was ramraided in a third break-in targeting the business.

Nepean Detective Acting Inspector Richard Gentle said the chicken shop break-in was under investigation and urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
