Shanes Park: Woman dies after fatal two-car crash in Sydney’s west
Emergency services desperately tried to save a 24-year-old woman after a crash in Sydney’s west, but tragically she died at the scene.

A woman has died following a two-car crash in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called just before 9am on Tuesday to Eighth Ave, near South Creek Rd, Shanes Park, following reports of a crash involving a Mazda 3 hatchback and a Genesis station wagon.
Despite the efforts of police and paramedics, the female driver of the Mazda, aged 24, died at the scene.
The 29-year-old female driver of the Genesis and her passenger, a three-year-old girl were uninjured.
Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene to investigate the circumstances involved with the crash.
A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
