A second man has been shot while sitting in a car in Sydney’s west, days after another man was shot in the buttocks in a nearby location in what police have described as a targeted attack.

A second man has been shot while sitting in a car in Penrith, days after a similar incident occurred nearby.
An 18-year-old man self presented to Nepean Hospital around 11.30 on Monday night with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police were called to the hospital and were told the man was allegedly shot while sitting in a car at Tench Reserve in Jamisontown.
He was treated at the hospital for a minor leg injury.
It comes days after a man in his 20s was shot in the buttocks at nearby Hickeys Lane in Penrith on Friday night, in what police have described as a targeted attack.
It is not yet known if the two incidents are linked.
Police have established a crime scene in relation to the second incident and are investigating the circumstances.
