He did not apply for bail, and it was officially refused by Magistrate van Zuylen.

Police will allege they stopped Fitzgerald in his Holden Commodore on McMahon Cl, Penrith, at about 8.15pm as he was wanted on a revocation of parole warrant.

Police allegedly found him with a loaded double-barrelled shotgun, ammunition for the gun, prescription medicine, and one gram of methamphetamine in a plastic zip-lock bag.

Fitzgerald also allegedly supplied 29 grams of methamphetamine.

He will next appear before court on February 6.
