Luke Priddis Ball channels Greatest Showman
The annual Luke Priddis Ball is taking on a Greatest Showman theme in 2019 to help celebrate everyone’s differences.
Express your magical differences and help raise money for a good cause at the same time.
The St Marys Band Club will be transformed into a circus spectacular for one night only in July when the Luke Priddis Foundation holds its annual ball.
Events and sponsorship manager Lucy Richards said the focus of the night is to raise both awareness and funds.
“The ball is about bringing awareness for the Luke Priddis Foundation and for kids living on the autism spectrum and we want to promote the cause and also raise the much needed funds we need,” Ms Richards said.
“It is also a fun night where the whole community can come together.”
The foundation has turned to popular 2017 movie musical The Greatest Showman for inspiration and have even designed costumes inspired by the movie that will be worn by the entertainers.
“Because the motto of the Luke Priddis Foundation is ‘difference is magical’, we twisted that with a bit of fun,” Ms Richards said.
“It is about having something fun that gets everyone involved and celebrates people’s differences.”
Highlights of the night include appearances from Married At First Sight’s Cam and Jules, entertainment from Magic to the Max, live auctions and a three course meal.
All money raised will go to the foundation, which will be put towards a new community digital hub.
The ball is on Saturday, July 13. Tickets are $135 or $1300 for table of 10.
