Kingswood: Child care centre approved for Park Avenue

A contemporary childcare centre has been given the green light for the fast-growing suburb of Kingswood. The two-storey facility will be able to care for more than 100 kids.

A two-storey childcare centre which could cater for up to 103 children will soon call Kingswood home.

The facility has recently received approval for 31 Park Ave with the centre to feature outdoor and indoor play areas with up to 16 staff working from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

The childcare centre is placed in a central location, only 700m from Kingswood train station and close to major roads such as The Northern Rd and Great Western Highway.

The facility is also close to Shaw Park, Chapman Gardens Oval, Werrington Public School, Cambridge Park High School, St Dominic’s College, St Joseph’s Primary School, Western Sydney University, TAFE (Nepean Kingswood), Nepean Hospital and Penrith Westfield.

The design of the two-storey childcare centre has factored in existing buildings in the area, planning documents state.

A noise management plan has formed part of the development approval process, to ensure there are no major impacts to the surrounding area.
