A man accused of sexually touching a 14-year-old girl at a Juice Wrld concert at the Hordern Pavilion last month will remain on bail after a brief mention in Penrith Court.
His lawyer indicated he would plead not guilty to the charges.
Ben Adrian Camarsh, 26, of North Richmond, was charged with two counts of intentionally sexually touching a child aged 10 to 16 years relating to the incident on November 22.
Camarsh was arrested by detectives at Windsor Police Station at about 10.30am on November 24.
During a successful bail application on November 25, Magistrate Brian Van Zuylen said Camarsh put the victim’s boyfriend on his shoulders before leading them to the mosh pit.
“Camarsh then allegedly touched the victim, which caused her to run away from the scene before she was found by security and taken to police,” he said.
Camarsh did not enter a plea during the mention, but his lawyer did say that he would enter a plea of not guilty if required.
His lawyer also asked for Camarsh to be excused from his next appearance on February 6, a request granted by Magistrate Van Zuylen unless a plea was to be entered.
Juice Wrld, the rapper whose concert the incident allegedly occurred at, recently died at the age of 21 after suffering a seizure at a Chicago airport.
Editor's note: All charges against Ben Camarsh relating to this matter have been dismissed
