A fourth man charged over an alleged syndicate that was producing and supplying methylamphetamine in Sydney’s west will stay behind bars on remand until at least November.

Hamid Reza Heidari, 34, of Punchbowl, was arrested in Padstow on Saturday after investigations by Strike Force Monfarville.

Police allege Heidari was part of a group that made meth at a clandestine laboratory in Ultimo before moving it to Sydney’s west.

Heidari was charged with manufacturing a prohibited drug not less than a large commercial quantity and participating in a criminal group.

He was originally refused bail at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday, and appeared again at Penrith Local Court on Tuesday before Magistrate Joy Boulos.

Magistrate Boulos made brief service orders during the brief mention and adjourned the matter to Penrith Local Court on November 6.
