An Australian musician who became a household name as an original member of Hi-5 is returning to the stage with a series of new shows kicking off in Penrith.
Nathan Foley is well known as one of the five original members of Australian television series and children's musical group Hi-5.
After leaving the group in 2008, Foley has continued his passion for music and performing, even appearing on The Voice in 2019.
He is returning to the stage this year with two new shows touring across NSW, with his first show, Aussie to the Bone, at Penrith Panthers for the Australia Day long weekend.
The two-hour, concert-esque show is described as a “tribute to the legends of Australian pop and rock” with Foley and his band to perform hits from stars such as John Farnham, INXS, Little River Band, Cold Chisel and Daddy Cool.
“This is an energy packed musical journey of Australian pop and rock,” Foley said.
His second show, Unforgettable, kicks off at the Avoca Beach Theatre on February 16 and is described as a “tribute to a generation never lost from the 50s and 60s” with Foley and his band to perform hits from legends including Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison and Tom Jones.
Foley will perform both shows at various locations across NSW including Pymble Golf Club, Illawarra Yacht Club, Flamingos Live Newcastle and Wyong Art House – with more dates and venues, including interstate, to be released.
