Cranebrook: Drive-thru service station, Taco Bell, El Jannah, Hungry Jacks proposed for Renshaw St

A service station with drive-thru convenience may soon call western Sydney home as part of an $8 million proposed development featuring a Taco Bell, El Jannah, child care centre and more.

A $7.8 million precinct could be on the cards for Cranebrook with proposed plans feauturing a Taco Bell, El Jannah, Hungry Jacks, service station, child care centre and a swim school.

The mixed-use development, set to generate hundreds of jobs, is set to revamp a 14,863sq m site on Renshaw St.

The Penrith Press spoke to Isaac Property, the family-owned property development company, which hopes to bring the plans to life.

“The project will provide a great mix of convenience retail to locals across fuel, food, car wash, swim school and child care,” director Ben Isaac said.

The plans boast of the involvement of big brands and NSW’s first drive-through service station which will be open day and night.

“We are excited to bring brands such as Taco Bell, Hungry Jacks, El Jannah and On The Run to the area,” Ben Isaac said.

“In particular, On The Run which will be one of the first service stations in NSW that have the added convenience of a drive thru to purchase items from the store.”

The developers are optimistic about the project’s contribution to the local economy.

“We envisage this project, once completed, will create over 200 ongoing jobs across the various businesses,” Mr Isaac said.

The proposal is set to develop an under-utilised site at the entrance to the Waterside industrial area while “delivering a number of public, social and economic benefits with minimal adverse impacts”, planning documents state.

Isaac Property are looking forward to working with council and the community to obtain development approval next year.
