A Hawkesbury man facing historical child sex offences will go to trial in the District Court.
Charles Ivars Wattle, 70, of Windsor, first appeared in Windsor Local Court last December on three counts of indecent assault.
Police will allege Wattle illegally touched two children under the age of 10 with the earliest allegation coming from the late 1980s.
It is alleged he masturbated the two young complainants in South Windsor.
Wattle has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and will now face a trial by jury.
During a brief mention of his matter before Magistrate Geoffrey Hiatt on Friday, the DPP withdrew one of the charges against Wattle.
He will be arraigned at Penrith District Court on two counts of indecent assault on October 30 where a trial date will be set.
