Wenty Leagues Club opens upgraded six-level car park

The $70 million upgrade for Wenty Leagues has kicked off with the opening of the 780 space car park.

Wenty Leagues has unveiled the latest part of its upgrades, opening the 780 space car park.

The car park, which is six storeys high, is part of the club’s overall upgrades which will eventually include a dining centre dubbed the plaza.

Glenn Kovacs, Wenty Leagues chief executive, said the opening was an exciting end to the construction.

“It has been such an exciting journey, watching the multistorey car park come together — from the planning stage to the construction stage,” Mr Kovacs said.

The plans for the $70 million upgrade was first unveiled in June 2016.

The initial plans for parking was for a monster 1600 car space and were estimated to take around five years to complete.

The next phase of construction will be the plaza which is expected to have the first stage ready by February next year.
