Strike force Arpen arrest four teens connected to robberies in Sydney’s north and north west
A police strike force created to target young thieves hitting stores in Sydney’s north and north west has made four arrests.

The teens responsible for the grab-and-go robberies across stores in Sydney’s north and north west have been nabbed by a police strike force.
Four teenagers have been arrested on Tuesday as a result of investigations by strike force Arpen.
Strike force Arpen was established to investigate a spate of stealing offences across the Sydney metropolitan area. The search warrants were executed at four homes across three suburbs — Guildford West, Northmead and St Marys.
At about 7am on Tuesday the three simultaneous warrants were executed: one on Windsor Rd, Northmead. A 16-year-old boy was taken to Castle Hill police station and was dealt with under the Young Offenders Act. A second warrant was carried out at Leach Rd, Guildford West. Police allegedly found property that linked the youth to the stores. A 16-year-old boy was arrested and taken to Granville police station. He was charged with three larceny offences, a stealing offence, affray and participating in a criminal group. The third warrant was at Linwood St, Guildford West. A 16-year-old boy was arrested and taken to Granville police station. He was charged with five stealing offences and participating in a criminal group.
The two boys from Guildford West were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Children’s Court. The final warrant was made for a home on Glossop St, St Marys. Property alleged to be stolen were seized. A 16-year old boy was arrested and taken to Penrith police station.
He was a charged with six larceny offences, affray, goods in custody and participate in criminal group.
The teenager was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta children’s court on Thursday August 1.
