Sephora to open Sydney store in the west

SAY goodbye to long trips to the city for a makeup fix. Sephora -home to singer Rihanna’s Fenty products — has announced it will be opening it’s second NSW store in Sydney’s west.

Western Sydney will have its own Sephora store.

SAY goodbye to long trips to the city for a makeup fix. Sephora has announced it will be opening a second NSW store at Parramatta’s Westfield.

The store, which is home to singer Rihanna’s Fenty products, is scheduled to open next month in the shopping complex.

Sephora was founded in France by Dominique Mandonnaud in 1970 and is currently owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

The company has 1900 stores in 29 countries worldwide, with more than 200 stores across the Asia Pacific region including Australia, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and India.

Makeup fans are expected to flock to the western Sydney grand opening in Parramatta.

Sephora Australia Country Manager Libby Amelia said the company had been inundated with messages for a western Sydney store.

“It’s been four years of scouting for the perfect location,” Ms Amelia said.

“We have been inundated with daily phone calls, emails, Facebook messages and Instagram comments about opening in Parramatta.”

The store will open in September “with a bang”, with a party planned for the first day of open doors.

“We’re excited to give back to our clients who have supported us over the years.

“The pre-opening party, door gifts and the energy and excitement from our team will all be next level.

“We’re ready to get the party started and show Australia where your beauty beats, at Sephora Westfield Parramatta.”
