South Wentworthville: Two women charged after allegedly assaulting 17-month-old boy at childcare centre
Two women who allegedly injured a 17-month-old boy at a western Sydney childcare centre have been charged.

Two childcare workers have been charged with assaulting a 17-month-old in their care at a South Wentworthville childcare centre.
Child abuse squad detectives have charged the employees after they received a report on June 24 regarding injuries to the child at the early learning centre.
Detectives began an investigation and will allege the injuries were caused by two childcare workers at the facility during separate occasions on the same day.
Following further inquiries, detectives issued two women future court attendance notices.
A 42-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault, and a 32-year-old woman was charged with common assault.
Both women will appear at Blacktown Local Court on August 27.
